Restaurant "Ooichou"

Introducing breakfast at the restaurant “Ooichou.” A Japanese, Western and Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet awaits you here, where ukiyoe paintings of sumo wrestlers adorn the entrance and interior of a restaurant with the unique downtown ambiance of Ryogoku – home of the sumo arena Kokugikan. Along with standard Western breakfast options (e.g. bread, sausage, salad, cereal), we offer dishes such as chanko nabe (a stew‐like dish traditionally served to sumo wrestlers), packed with domestically-grown vegetables, and mugitoro-gohan (a bowl of boiled rice and barley with grated yam on top), made with domestically-grown barley, and traditional Kyoto side dishes, so you have the opportunity to indulge in Japanese tastes as well.
